Well, well, well. Not only are LD Riders competitive about riding but it looks like they are competitive ash scatterers, as well.
Not to be outdone by Mr. Koch of Minnesota - Mr. Paul Allison of Sherburn Hill in northeastern England decided to take a similar but much louder approach.
If you've happened to meet Paul - this shouldn't surprise you. He craves attention in the worst way and will do almost anything to get it. I suppose there is something charming about the man - or maybe it is simply that funny accent of his. You must wonder about a person who finds the geology of southwestern Nebraska fascinating and will just go on and on and on about it.
It's exhausting to be around him.
Anyway, Eddie managed to make it past those top-notch English customs officials and into the hands of this sick individual.
From Paul:
Yes, Paul. He would have appreciated it. Very much.

From Paul:
Lisa,
You entrusted me with a little bit of Eddie. I scattered the
ashes over a part of northern England. It is quite a lovely place. It is the
Vale of Eden in Cumbria, near a village called Brough. It is on the south
western edge of a range of hills called the North Pennines. It is in an Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty; this is a national landscape designation kind of
like a National Park.
I will send by a second email a video of the method of the
scattering. It involved 609 kg (approximately 1,350 lbs) of high explosives. I
think he would have appreciated it. If the file is too big to send by email, I
shall mail a memory stick with the video.
All the very best,
Paul Allison.
