Rider #533

Time: 9:50pm, June 19, 2010
Location: North-South Continental Divide, Browns Valley, Minnesota
Odometer: 76,274

(Eddie rode 2,076 miles with rider #533)

Eddie rode to High Point, IA; Buffalo Bill Ranch, NE; Ames Monument, WY; Medora, ND; and through the Black Hills & center of the US (Belle Fouches, SD). There were too many forest rats.

Rider #533 then performed this Native American ritual at the North-South continental divide where the Red River flows north to Hudson Bay and the Minnesota River flows south via the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico:

Facing east, spreading ashes, "May the world know of this man's birth"
Facing south, spreading ashes, "May the world know of this man's love & compassion"
Facing north, spreading ashes, "May the world know of this man's strength & courage"
Facing west, spreading ashes, "May the world know of this man's death"
